Employer Responsibilities and Training
After an individual tests positive for drugs, it is the employer's responsibility to ensure compliance with all MRO evaluations, including determinations of work readiness and schedules for follow-up testing. The employer must ensure that all employees are made aware of, and have access to, the company's drug policy.
Literature, handouts, and training videos concerning substance abuse in the workplace will be made available to TSS consortium members. We also offer training of employees and supervisors, including the required Signs and Symptoms for Supervisors course. Training costs are negotiated on a case by case basis. All training is conducted in accordance with DOT regulations and is fully documented.
